A.G. Connect Deaf Limited – Coordinator
A.G. Connect Deaf Limited is a social SME, working in the field of diversity and inclusion. The company was registered in 2017 and more specifically, its activities are focused on the design and development of inclusive communication and educational mobile applications that target users who are deaf and their hearing persons’ network. The innovation in the mobile applications is in the integration of fingerspelling and sign language. Co-design approaches are used to design the apps with the target users in order to ensure that their needs are addressed and that the designs offer positive user experiences. The company also has an important role and responsibility, acting as an evangelist towards the public in spreading the message about the need of designing and developing more inclusive technologies for persons who are deaf in general. Additionally, the company has an online store with its own designed and branded clothing that emphasizes the importance of sign language use and inclusion.

SEIT Laboratory, University of Cyprus
The University of Cyprus participates in the project through the Software Engineering and Internet Technologies (SEIT) Laboratory, an integral part of the Department of Computer Science. SEIT Lab focuses its research activities on two important areas of Information Technology, namely Software Engineering and Internet Technologies. In the first area, SEIT Lab focuses on Cloud Computing, Service Oriented Architectures, Context-Aware Middleware Platforms and Smart and Mobile Computing for the development of pervasive, self-adaptive applications and Smart IoT services. In the latter area, the Laboratory concentrates on the development of ICT-enabled Environments, platforms and tools for implementing Health monitoring and support services, Smart and Personalized services for Elders, Assistive Technologies for people with disabilities and Creativity services.

Mobile Devices Laboratory, Frederick Research Centre
Frederick Research Center (FRC) is a leading research non-profit organization in Cyprus. FRC participates in the project through the Mobile Devices Laboratory (MDL) whish focuses its activities on applied (industrial) and scientific research. Regarding applied research, the focus is on working in collaboration with the industry on projects, for developing innovative native applications, as well as Web-based and Mobile Computing Systems. Regarding scientific research, MDL focuses on Web and Mobile Computing and Data Management systems that exploit Cloud technologies. The lab has formed collaborations and obtained sponsorships from several industrial companies
